Merry Christmas! Like any good Jewish girl on Christmas, my plans today include Asian food and a movie (Wolf of Wall Street, hi Leo!). Last night, though, with little to do and a big appetite, I decided it would be the perfect time to christen my new cast iron skillet. I have a few more things a-brewing, including soup and short ribs, but for now all you get are these eggs.
I’ve been meaning to make these cookies since I started the blog. They are my favorite cookie to bake, and have been since elementary school. I have the well-worn cookbook to prove it. I had to beg my mother to let me take it away from home because I couldn’t find it on the internet to buy for myself. 365 Great Cookies and Brownies was a staple of my childhood, and snickerdoodles was the most visited recipe. After a few days away, I’m back from Thanksgiving and ready for something healthy. This recipe is so easy and addictive, I needed to share it with you. I’ve recently discovered the beauty of white beans. They’re heart healthy, low in fat, and high in protein. And they’re so versatile!
